"I used the services of Clarke's Helping Hand Care Providers in August 2022. I had just been diagnosed with Covid and lived with my 90-year-old father and my 84-year-old mother who was in advanced dementia. I needed emergency professional care as I really could not look after them safely without exposing them to Covid. I had tried a well-known nursing service for 9 months and found the nurse very unprofessional, poorly trained and unreliable. I was extremely wary of this type of service.

A retired nurse recommended Mrs. Clarke who understood my situation and was able to come the next day. She also allowed me to negotiate an affordable price. She was amazingly professional, and I saw that immediately. She was reliable, understood her patients' different requirements and was readily accepted by my mother who was the greatest challenge. I was able to avoid my parents all day as I was satisfied that all of their needs were being met. They did not catch Covid from me.

I was again forced to contact Mrs. Clarke 3 days before Christmas as my mother had been hospitalized in serious condition but she was being discharged to her nursing home for further palliative care. She was on a Naso-gastric feeding tube and would require 24-hour nursing service. This was Christmas and New Year, and the nursing pool everywhere was greatly reduced. Once again, Mrs. Clarke came to our rescue. She and her nurses were able to provide around the clock nursing care and help my mother to heal and recover. It was the best Christmas gift I have ever had.
